Mud, Water and Ice

This is a good example of Zion's many different forms and phases. It had rained a few day prior to the making of this image which filled up the pool and gave the mud just enough time to gain its ripply texture without letting it completely dry up. I made sure to go in the morning before the sun has time to melt all the ice away.
