Light Ray, Pine Creek Canyon I tried for this image for a little over a year. On the day I made the exposure I was running a bit late to capture the early morning light on the distant cliffs. About halfway into setting up the camera the light faded away. I waited for about a half hour after that to find this light ray breaking across the valley. This was a truly rare and unexpected moment that will most likely never happen again.
